IMPERIAL, J:

The defendant appealed from the judgment of the Court of First Instance of Manila finding him guilty of the crime of murder and sentencing him to reclusion perpetua, to indemnify the heirs of the deceased in the amount of one thousand pesos (P1,000), and to pay the costs.
