D E C I S I O N

MORAN, J:

Charged with the crime of murder of one Serapio Tecson, the accused Antonio Z. Oanis and Alberto Galanta, chief of police of Cabanatuan and corporal of the Philippine Constabulary, respectively were, after due trial, found guilty by the lower court of homicide through reckless imprudence and were sentenced each to an indeterminate penalty of from one year and six months to two years and two months of prision correccional and to indemnify jointly and severally the heirs of the deceased in the amount of P1,000.

Defendants appealed separately from this judgment.
